About Us

I’m Chenay, the owner of Slate and Sand Interior Design. I’m a mom to two boys, and like most people, my life has had a few different seasons. Some loud, some quiet, some full of rebuilding.

Somewhere in the middle of all of that I realized how much our homes shape the way we feel and how we move through our days. Design has always been a part of who I am. I love clean lines, warm textures, and spaces that feel lived in but still pulled together. I don’t believe good design has to be dramatic or expensive.
It just has to make sense for your life right now.
